Saimir Maloku is an Albanian electronic engineer born in Albania in 1946. He is considered a contemporary hero for having invented the kanoçe, a “magical” device that fueled the desires and dreams of freedom of the Albanian people during the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha, allowing the reception of Rai channels and programs from the former Yugoslavia.
