An elderly woman continues her poor and simple life, forgotten by her immigrant children, lonely and without love. On the other side of town, a young divorced woman with a young child tries to restore balance in her life. Two stories of broken human relationships run in parallel, only to intertwine at the end, to complete a sad vicious circle of life.
